<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide "onboard information equipment, a control program and computer-readable recording medium" for enabling a service person to easily perform failure diagnosis. <P>SOLUTION: This onboard information equipment is configured of a car navigation system or a car audio system, for instance. The onboard information equipment is provided with: a key switch group 11; a controller 12 including a counter 12a; an audio-processor 18 and a power amplifier 19. The power amplifier 19 is connected to a speaker 20. The controller 12 decides a switch depressed in a key switch group 11. The counter 12a counts the number of times of input of decided switch.
