PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory system which includes a memory controller equipped with an address-scrambling function to a flash memory device which stores 2N+1 bit data, and also provide a method for scrambling address data in the memory system.

SOLUTION: The method for scrambling address data includes; a step in which external address data inputted from a flash controller 2000 is converted to internal address data which operates in a flash memory device 1000; and a step in which a present data accessing operation relating to the address data is neglected when address bits in the external address data have specific scramble values.
