METHOD FOR SURFACE MODIFICATION OF MAGNESIUM ALLOY PLATE

A surface processing method of a magnesium alloy sheet is provided to prevent the environmental contamination by depositing a magnesium oxide film on the magnesium alloy sheet. A surface processing method of a magnesium alloy sheet comprises: a step of preparing a vacuum container including an electron gun vaporizing the magnesium oxide inside, a support stand in which a specimen is supported, and a crucible containing the magnesium oxide(S10); a step of stabilizing the inner pressure of the vacuum container; a step of stabilizing the inner temperature of the vacuum container to 200°C to 300°C; a step of stabilizing the pressure to 5x10-6Torr or 1x10-4Torr by supplying the oxygen to the inside of the vacuum container; and a step of depositing the magnesium oxide film on the magnesium alloy sheet by vaporizing the magnesium oxide held in the crucible(S30).
