摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple intake pipe structure of an internal combustion engine which allows the rapid heating of an intake swirl control valve at the start of the operation of the internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: TCVs 32, 34 are configured to be disposed in arrayed intake pipes 4 to 8, 12 to 16 to partially open and close respective intake passages 4a to 8a, 12a to 16a, thereby controlling a swirl in the combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine, thus obtaining the simple structures of the TCVs 32, 34. In addition, the valve shafts 32a, 34a of the TCVs 32, 34 are disposed in proximity to or in contact with the wall surface side with which an exhaust gas introduction passage 28 contacts in the intake pipes 4 to 8, 12 to 16. This disposition allows the valve shafts 32a, 34a in which water tends to be particularly accumulated at the time of the stoppage of the internal combustion engine to be quickly heated by an exhaust gas at an extremely short distance from the exhaust gas at the start of the operation of the internal combustion engine. Consequently, even if water is frozen in the valve shafts 32a, 34a at the stoppage of the internal combustion engine, the frozen water is quickly defrosted at the start of the operation of the internal combustion engine.
