FILTER FOR PORTABLE PERITONEAL DIALYSIS SYSTEM USING SILK FIBROIN INCLUDING ENZYME AND METHOD THEREOF

The present invention relates to a method for producing a filter for a peritoneal dialysis liquid regenerating system by using a silk fibroin or a silk protein and, more specifically, to a filter including an enzyme such as urease in a silk fibroin or a silk protein and to a method for producing a filter for a portable peritoneal dialysis liquid regenerating system. A silk fibroin does not cause in vivo immunoreactions compared to other polymers, and safety thereof has been recognized by FDA, so the silk fibroin is used as a medical material for a suturing yarn or the like. The filter according to the present invention effectively removes a low molecular material and may very effectively regenerate a peritoneal dialysis liquid. Moreover, the filter may be simultaneously used with a conventional activated carbon filter, so a peritoneal dialysis liquid may be more effectively regenerated. A sink fibroin filter according to the present invention has advantages such as mass-productivity, adjustable decomposability, and enzyme fixability, thereby having an excellent peritoneal dialysis liquid regenerating effect as a filter for a portable peritoneal dialysis liquid regenerating system, in which an enzyme such as urease is fixed. The method according to the present invention comprises the steps of: producing a silk fibroin-polymer-enzyme mixed solution by mixing a fibroin solution, a polymer, and an enzyme; producing a filter by treating the mixed solution through one scheme selected from electrical radiation, electrical spraying, and freeze-drying; and insolubilizing the produced filter.
