According to the present invention, an exterior material (1) for an electrical storage device comprises a heat-resistant resin layer (2) as an outside layer, a thermoplastic resin layer (3) as an inside layer, and a metallic thin layer (4) disposed therebetween, wherein a deposition layer (7) is stacked on an outer surface of the heat-resistant resin layer (2), and the deposition layer (7) is formed by depositing at least one selected from the group consisting of a metal, a metal oxide, and a silica. According to the present invention as configured above, it is possible to secure good molding properties and provide an exterior material for an electrical storage device capable of preventing occurrence of curl (occurrence of warpage). It is preferable to employ a configuration formed by stacking a protective resin layer (8) on an outer layer of the deposition layer (7), wherein the protective resin layer (8) is made of at least one selected from the group consisting of an acrylic-based resin, a fluorine-based resin, a urethane-based resin, a polyester-based resin, an epoxy-based resin, and a phenoxy-based resin. |
