PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide sheet material and a container by which a clear printed matter can be installed at an arbitrary place without receiving regional restrictions.SOLUTION: Sheet-like blank material 10 consists of base material 10a for the blank material, and a large number of embossed regions 20 consisting of a fine uneven shape 13 are formed on a surface of the base material 10a for the blank material. The embossed region 20 consisting of the fine uneven shape 13 can be recognized by viewing a shadow pattern which has been generated by light being projected from an inclined direction. However, the embossed region 20 cannot be recognized by viewing with light which has been projected from a confronting direction, and is read by an optical reading apparatus 30 under a specified condition. On a surface of the sheet-like blank material 10, a printing layer 18 can be installed by overlapping with the embossed region 20. |
