Provided is a liquid solid separating device that, using a substance A which is a gas at atmospheric temperature and atmospheric pressure and when liquefied can dissolve water and oil, performs dewatering and deoiling of a processing object consisting of water and a solid, oil and a solid, or a mixture of water, oil, and a solid, wherein the liquid solid separating device is provided with the following: a substance B that is circulated while being subjected to a phase change within a closed system; a compressor that compresses the substance B; a first heat exchanger A that exchanges heat between the condensation heat of the substance B and the evaporation heat of the substance A; an expansion valve for decreasing the pressure of the condensed substance B; a second heat exchanger B that exchanges heat between the evaporation heat of the substance B and the condensation heat of the substance A; and a processing vessel in which the substance A, having been evaporated while being separated with water or oil at the first heat exchanger A and having been condensed at the second heat exchanger B, is mixed with the processing object. The liquid solid separating device is characterized in that the center of gravity of the first heat exchanger A is disposed at a lower position in the vertical direction than the center of gravity of the second heat exchanger B, and as a result thereof, the frequency of maintenance is reduced and control of the filling amount of substance A within a cycle is made easier. |
