Provided are a method and apparatus for configuring a wireless router. The method comprises: acquiring an identifier(s) of one or more user equipments accessing a wireless router; determining a configuration policy for a working mode of the wireless router at least according to the identifier(s) of the one or more user equipments, wherein the working mode at least comprises a remote control mode and a wireless access parent control mode; and configuring the configuration policy. By means of the present invention, the problem in the related art that the configuration complexity of the working mode of the wireless router brings inconvenience to user operations is solved, thereby reducing the configuration complexity of the working mode of the wireless router and making the user experience comfortable. |
