PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately stabilize the shape of an engaging part of an engaging pin.SOLUTION: An engaging pin 7 (or 107) of a double bearing reel 100 (or a spinning reel 200) engages with a worm shaft 5 (or 105) of a fishing reel that includes intersecting spiral grooves 5a (or 105a). The engaging pin 7 (or 107) comprises: a shaft part 7a (or 107a); and an engaging part 7b (or 107b) provided at one end of the shaft part 7a (or 107a) so as to be integrally rotatable, and engaging with the spiral grooves 5a (or 105a).
