PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an electrode capable of manufacturing an electrode at a low cost by using an electrode mixture containing water as a dispersion medium, while suppressing rection of the electrode active material and water in the electrode mixture, and suppressing corrosion of a collector and increase in the battery resistance due to increase in pH of the electrode mixture.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing an electrode has a step (A) of producing an electrode mixture composed of granules containing a water-soluble polymer having an electrode active material, a binding agent, and an acid functionality, and a dispersion medium containing water, and a step (B) of depositing the electrode mixture on a collector by rolling. The step (A) includes a step (AX) of forming granules containing the electrode active material, binding agent, and dispersion medium, and a step (AY) of adding the water-soluble polymer having an acid functionality to the granules.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3A |
