PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner storage container which does not cause clogging/blockage of toner to reduce an amount of emission of the toner.SOLUTION: A toner storage container comprises: toner; a spiral protrusion that protrudes inwardly into a container to convey the toner in a powder storage part to an opening part side; and a powder drawing unit that draws the toner on the opening part side due to rotation of the powder storage part, and supplies the toner to a powder receiving inlet. Transportability of the toner is 0.3 to 5.0 mg/sec, and the powder drawing unit has a drawing surface that extends from an inner wall surface of the powder storage part toward a side of a rotation central axis. In the drawing surface, an inner end part on the side of the rotation central axis extends in a direction of the rotation central axis of the powder storage part, and an edge of the inner end part is generally parallel with the rotation central axis. As viewed from the direction of the rotation central axis, the drawing surface is inclined at an inclination angle within a predetermined range toward an upstream side in a rotation direction of the powder storage part beyond a virtual straight line passing through the rotation central axis and the edge of the inner end part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
