PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately estimate the position of a mobile terminal holder using measurement data by a sensor of a mobile terminal.SOLUTION: This positioning system determines the held position of a mobile terminal on the basis of a held position detection model and collected measurement data, selects a motion recognition model corresponding to the held position determined by a held position detection unit, determines the motion of the holder of the mobile terminal on the basis of a selected motion recognition model and the collected measurement data, selects a parameter set from a parameter table on the basis of the held position determined by the held position detection unit and the motion determined by a motion recognition unit, calculates the amount of movement of the holder using a selected parameter set, and determines the position of the holder on the basis of a calculated amount of movement.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
