PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna device and position detection device capable of flexibly adjusting the arrangement position of a reception antenna in accordance with the body type of a subject and accurately acquiring the position information of each reception antenna required to estimate the position of a capsule type medical device.SOLUTION: An antenna device 3 includes at least three antenna units 3A including: a reception antenna 33A for receiving a radio signal from a capsule type endoscope device 1; a cable 34A connected to the reception antenna 33A; a housing part 36A provided with a pull-out port 35A from which the cable 34A is pulled out; and a first sensor 39A for detecting the length of the cable pulled out of the housing part 36A.
