<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a compact double-side printing/conveying route in an image forming device, to increase double-side printing speed, and to prevent the double-side printed paper from disturbing extraction of paper stacked in a paper discharge section. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming device 1 has the paper discharge section 12 above a housing 10 and a vertical conveying route 13 inside. An image forming section 20 is disposed at a relatively low position in the housing 10, and a fixing section 13 is arranged at a relatively low position in the vertical conveying route 13. A switch back roller 43 is arranged above the fixing section 30 in a close form to the fixing section 30 in the vertical conveying route 13. The inside of the housing 10 is provided with the double-side printing/conveying route 40 for receiving paper switched back by the switch back roller 43 and feeding it to the upstream side of the image forming section 20, and a temporary approach path 50 for receiving the head of paper after one-side printing switched back for double-side printing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
