<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide pipe fittings capable of effectively preventing projection of a seal ring without giving a bad influence to installation of a pipe body. <P>SOLUTION: In this fittings, when the seal ring 4 is fitted in a peripheral groove 5 of a fittings main body 10 and the pipe body 20 is inserted into the fittings main body, the pipe body 20 passes through the seal ring 4, and the fittings main body 10 and the pipe body 20 are sealed. A thick part 6 having a height lower than that of the seal ring 4 is provided in front and rear of the peripheral groove 5. Surface shape of the thick part 6 is desirably formed into an inclined surface formed higher on the peripheral groove side thereof or an arc surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
