This endoscope (1) includes: a manipulable section 3; a manipulable section main body 8 which has a main body space 8S that is a closed space and which is suitable for gripping by a hand; a heat source 10 which is disposed in the main body space 8S of the manipulable section main body 8; a heat sink 30 which collects the heat generated from the heat source 10 by conduction; and a cover portion 9 which has a covering space 9S that covers and surrounds the heat sink 30 and a vent 9h that connects the inside of the covering space 9S with the outside. |
