摘要 The vehicle has normal front wheel steering controlled by the steering wheel (1) and the steering servo (6) and rear wheel steering controlled by a microprocessor (18). The rear wheels are steered in relation to the steering wheel setting and the vehicle speed- and loading. A programmed set of rear wheels steering characteristics are adressed by the processor and the optimum characteristics is selected by a control circuit (36). The processor also controls the servo steering effect on the rear-and front wheels. If servo steering is applied to the rear wheels, when conditions require, then the front servo effect is correspondingly reduced. ADVANTAGE - Improved control, adaptable to different road/driving conditions.
