PRESERVATION OF PERISHABLE MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To preserve a perishable material while preventing the drying of the material by placing the perishable material in a pallet having small holes bored on the whole surfaces of the main body and the lid, introducing the pallet into a storage chamber containing stirred and uniformized atmospheric gas and constantly keeping the atmosphere surrounding the perishable material in the pallet to a state equivalent to the outer atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:Small holes 15 are bored through the whole faces of the main body 11 and the lid 13 of a pallet. A perishable material is put into the main body 11 of the pallet and covered with the lid 13. Gas can be exchanged between the inside and the outside of the pallet to prevent the stagnation of gas in the pallet.
