PURPOSE:To provide a composition which can achieve a temperature as low as -60 deg.C without using a legally regulated regrigerant having great danger of causing ozonosphere destruction and can be used as an R502 substitute from the viewpoints of refrigerating capacity and other performances. CONSTITUTION:An azeotropic mixture of chlorodifluoromethane and octafluoropropane is mixed with n-pentane in an amount of at most 14% based on the total weight of the chlorodifluoromethane and octafluoropropane to give the objective composition.
