The chassis of a multi-purpose motor vehicle has at least one drive axle (1) fitted on the frame, fitted to which is a drive motor (2). In the longitudinal direction the frame is divided by cross bars (3) on the front part (4), middle part (5) and back part (6). Arranged in the front part (4) and rear part (6) are the vehicle axles (1) and in the middle part (5), under the upper layer of the frame, is a longitudinally arranged drive motor (2).<IMAGE>
