PURPOSE:To obtain a driving device of a stepping motor which enables improvement of responsiveness at the time of high-speed rotation. CONSTITUTION:A control part 13 generates a set value of an exciting current at every time interval being in inverse proportion to a speed of rotation of a stepping motor 11, while executing an ON-OFF control at every prescribed time interval so that the exciting currents flowing through coils 111 and 112 be at the set value. Moreover, the control part 13 turns driving parts 141 and 142 ON forcibly when the set value of the exciting current tends to increase, and turns the driving parts 141 and 142 OFF forcibly when the set value tends to decrease, irrespective of an ON-OFF command for control of the exciting current. Thereby responsiveness at the time of high-speed rotation is improved. |
