PURPOSE:To obtain a composition, containing an oxidase capable of generating hydrogen peroxide by the coexistence of a substrate, the substrate and a peroxidase and capable of decomposing a mold pigment under mild conditions and decoloring mold foulings sticking to the surfaces of walls, tiles, etc. CONSTITUTION:This composition for decomposing a mold pigment contains (A) an oxidase capable of generating hydrogen peroxide by the coexistence of a substrate (a glycol oxidase, a maleate oxidase, etc.), (B) the substrate and (C) a peroxidase (which may be derived from a microorganism or a plant). The composition contains preferably 1000U component (A), 100mg component (B) and 1000U component (C) based on 1ml compositional liquid and is effective against any molds such as those, belonging to the genus Alternaria, Cladosporium or Ulocladium and having a dark brown color. |
