PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to initialize a peripheral equipment from a host even when a CPU for controlling the peripheral equipment runs away. SOLUTION: In the interface (with centronix specification) capable of generating an initializing signal from the host to the peripheral equipment as an interruption signal, a timer circuit part 9 judges whether an initializing signal INPRM from the host is continued for a prescribed time or more, and when the signal INPRM is continued for the prescribed time or more, an nonmaskable interruption signal RESET is generated. The generation of the signal RESET based upon the signal INPRM outputted from the host is stored in a D flip flop 8 so that the stored contents can be read out from the peripheral equipment.
|
