摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the optical phase of an optical signal which is multiplexed in an optical area by means of time division to be in an initial setting state by phase- comparing a low frequency signal from a low frequency oscillator with a low frequency signal component within multiplexed optical signal and controlling optical phase controlled variable. SOLUTION: Plural optical modulating signals are multiplexed in a time division optical multiplexing device by time division. In the device, an optical multiplexing part 1 multiplexes the plural optical modulating signals being different in a time slot by time division and an optical phase control part 2 adjusts at least one optical wave phase in the optical modulating signal added to the optical multiplexing part 1. Then, the low frequency oscillator 3 modulates an optical phase control signal inputted to the optical phase control part 2 by the low frequency signal and an optical phase detection control part 4 phase-compares the low frequency signal from the low frequency oscillator 3 with the low frequency signal component added in the optical signal which is multiplexed by the optical multiplexing part 1 so as to control the optical phase controlled variable. Thus, the signal is made into the time division multiplexing optical signal corresponding to the characteristic, etc., of an optical transmission path and a stable system is constructed.
