PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect an AC jack to an AC adaptor and to continue telephone conversation even if the voltage of a battery becomes a set voltage or lower, by charging the battery by power from the AC adaptor, or operating an internal circuit, if a detected signal meaning that the battery voltage is a set voltage or lower is received. SOLUTION: Tf it is detected that the voltage of a battery 8 is a set voltage or lower while talking on the phone is being detected by the aid of a base band signal converter unit(BBC) 3, a liner for a talkable period set beforehand is set. And if power reception from an AC jack detecting element 7 is detected, control is so performed as to charge the battery 8, and to supply received power to internal apparatuses and individual sections. In this way, it becomes possible for a user to talk on the phone without recognizing the remaining capacity of the battery, since power is supplied to the inside charging the battery 8, by supplying AC power by the aid of the AC jack detecting element 7 for external connection even if the voltage of the battery 8 while talking on the phone is low. |
