PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell synchronization circuit with a small required memory capacity and simplified control. SOLUTION: The cell synchronization circuit 10 is provided with an ES (elastic store) section 11 that receives ATM cell data subject to time division multiplexing, an ES control section 12 that controls write/read of the ES section 11 and a cell synchronization control section 13 connecting to an output of the ES section 11 and outputting ATM cell data and a cell pulse CP. The ES section 11 has a memory with two areas to which data are read/written simultaneously at different speeds. |
