摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute image forming with high hardness, lessened deterioration by electric discharge, excellent wear resistance, small surface energy, lessened contamination and good toner transferability and cleanability. SOLUTION: This image forming method has stages for subjecting an electrophotographic photoreceptor having a surface protective layer contg. colloidal silica and siloxane resin on its extreme surface layer to electrostatic charge and image exposure to form an electrostatic latent image, developing this latent image by toners and transferring the developed toner image on the photoreceptor to a transfer material. The following toners are used as the toners described above: The weight average grain size is 1 to 10μm; the distribution accumulation value of the diameter half the number average grain size (DI) or below is <=20 pieces %; the distribution accumulation value of the diameter twice the weight average grain size (D4) or above is <=10 vol.%; the shape coefft. SF-1 is in a range from 100 to 140; the entire part or part is formed by a polymn. method and the content of the residual monomer is <=1000 ppm.</p>
