PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable simultaneous scale reduction and selection of a present position and a destination by displaying inputted objective position data and current position data on the same display screen, and adequately changing the enlargement.reduction ratio of an objective map. SOLUTION: This system 100 consists of a GPS antenna 2, an FM receiving antenna 5, a CPU 7, a PC card 9, a storage device 11, etc. The PC card 9 is an external storage device storing map data of each place, and can selectively use relative map data according to a present position of a man having the card. The storage device 11 has a RAM function part and a ROM function part. When the man having the card in a present position decides a specified destination, the contraction ratio of an objective place displayed in a display part 10 is made to be included in an application program capable of containing the present position and the destination in the same image plane, on the basis of the distance relation between the present position and the destination. When accommodation in the same image plane is impossible, an arrow mark indicating the destination from the present position is formed on the image plane. |
