PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive lithographic printing plate and an image forming method by which an image can be formed without using a developer containing a strong alkali and an org. solvent, and by which enough printing adaptability, reproducibility of dots and printing durability can be obtd. SOLUTION: This photosensitive lithographic printing plate has at least a hydrophilic photosensitive layer and an oleophilic layer in this order on a hydrophilic supporting body, and an image is formed by using changes in the characteristics of the hydrophilic photosensitive layer caused by irradiation of active rays. Among the internal cohesion strength of each layer formed on the supporting body in a nonimage part and the interfacial adhesion strength between layers except for the cover sheet, either the internal cohesion strength of the hydrophilic layer or the interfacial adhesion strength between the oleophilic layer and the hydrophilic photosensitive layer is the smallest. The max. peeling strength after exposure of a part in the nonimage part having the min. peeling strength differs by >=1.0 kgf/50 mm width from the max. peeling strength of the same part not exposed. |
