PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive lithographic printing plate and an image forming method by which an image can be formed without using a developer containing a strong alkali and an org. solvent, the image is hardly influenced by small differences in the balance between a nonimage part and an image part or in the peeling conditions during development, and stable dot quality can be obtd. SOLUTION: This photosensitive lithographic printing plate has at least a photosensitive layer on a hydrophilic supporting body, and an oleophilic layer is peeled and removed by using changes in the characteristics of the photosensitive layer caused by irradiation of active rays so as to form a hydrophilic nonimage part and an oleophilic image part. The peeling strength both in the nonimage part and in the image part is <=0.5 kgf/50 mm width. |
