The garment (1), which can be in the form of overalls (2) with a hood and overshoes, or a shirt and pants, is made from one or more layers of non-woven polymer microfibre or super-microfibre fabric with a yarn count of 0.05 - 11 dTex and a weight of between 4.5 and 650 grams per square metre. The sections of the garment can be assembled with single, double or oversewn seams, thermal or ultrasound welding, or adhesive, and the garment can be dyed, impregnated or equipped with an ultrasound system to give it insect-repellent properties.
