摘要

PURPOSE: A method for managing defects of a one-time recordable optical disc is provided to stably manage defects by efficiently using a temporary defect list and temporary disc definition structure in a temporary defect management area even if the one-time recordable optical disc has a plurality of recording layers. CONSTITUTION: A one-time recordable optical disc with a plurality of recording layers has a temporary defect management area on which a temporary defect list and temporary disc definition structure are recorded. It is confirmed whether defect areas are generated. The temporary defect list is made out by recording the defect areas in order of generation. The temporary disc definition structure is made out by assigning one cluster to every recording layer.
