PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for selectively printing page of a document are provided to improve a print speed and a print quality by printing only pages including required contents. CONSTITUTION: It is determined whether or not only a page including a predetermined content required by a user is printed(12). If it is determined that only a page including the predetermined content is printed, only the page is printed(22). The predetermined page includes one of graphic, color text, mono text, and a picture. When a user intends to print the page by dividing the color page and the mono page, it is determined whether or not the user intends to print only the color page or only the mono page. If it is determined that the user intends to print only the color page, the color page is printed by using color ink.
