<p>Compounds represented by general formula (I) (for example, 4-(4-chlorophenyl)-2-phenyl-3-(1,2,4-triazoyl)butan-2-ol) or salts thereof, wherein R1 represents lower alkyl; R2 represents optionally substituted phenyl or lower alkyl; and R3 represents optionally substituted phenyl. As they have an effect of specifically inhibiting the biosynthesis of brassinosteroid, these compounds are useful as plant growth regulators.</p> |
