The belt is fitted in the torque flow between first and second conical disk pairs. It has pressure pieces (2a, 2b) running transversely to the running direction and engaging in apertures (4) in the connecting tabs (3a, 3b), which themselves run parallel to the running direction. At least one pair of pressure pieces may be coupled to each other by a holding element (8).
