The pump has a pump housing (2) with high pressure channels (28a,b,c) and collection channel (30). The pump housing is charged with compression strain in the opening area (46) of the channels by a charging device (32). This is formed by a pressure connection to the pump. The pump is a radial piston pump with three or more pump units, and high pressure channels opening into a collection channel at an axial distance to the drive shaft.
