PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely confirm the change of print contents, after updating the system software of a printer from the contents before. SOLUTION: Two pieces of raster data which are reference image data obtained by converting image data for verification into a raster format before updating the system software of a printer and image data for comparison obtained by converting the image data for verification into a raster format after updating the system software of the printer are compared, and when they are different, different parts are displayed so as to be easily grasped and the updated content information of an update file is shown in a sentence.
