PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively reduce the size of a dielectric antenna, increase the gain of the antenna, and widen the band of the antenna. SOLUTION: An antenna system is constituted by integrally forming a monopole antenna element 24 which is formed in, for example, a strip-like shape by using an electrode film and to which the feeding point (feeding connector 22) of a feeder line is connected and a parasitic element 26 which is formed in, for example, a strip-like shape by using an electrode film and provided near the antenna element 24 on a dielectric substrate 20 formed by baking one platy dielectric layer or a laminated body composed of a plurality of platy dielectric layers. For example, the antenna element 24 is formed on the lower surface of the substrate 20 and the parasitic element 2 is formed on the upper surface of the substrate 20 in such a way that the elements 24 and 26 are faced oppositely to each other with the substrate 20 in between.
