A biodegradable, sustained-release medicament formulation (I) comprising: (A) at least one drug; and (B) a carrier system consisting of biodegradable blood plasma proteins which have been subjected to fluidized bed drying while retaining their properties. An Independent claim is included for the preparation of (I), by spraying a solution and/or suspension of proteins (B) in a fluidized bed apparatus, to cause controlled drying with retention of properties.
