Measurement body (10) comprises alternating regions (12, 13) of different optical properties along a linear direction (x). The regions are arranged on a supporting substrate (11) and form a trace (15) with the regions comprised of a first (12) photo- luminescent porous zone followed by a second non-luminescent zone (13). An Independent claim is made for a measurement device with the above measurement body (10) and a scanning unit (20) made up of a number of opto-electronic detector elements (23) and a light source (21). The light is of a fixed wavelength that excites the photo-luminescent zones of the measurement body.
