PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow tiles to be firmly fixed together in the case where the tiles on a sheathing roof board are fixed to each other by a fixing device, permit the work for fixing the tiles together to be easily performed even in the above case, and prevent the composition of the fixing device from being complicated in the roof of a building. SOLUTION: The lower end part 7b of an upper tile 7(A) in a slanting direction S is placed on the upper end part 7a of a lower tile 7(B) for the purpose of installing a fixing tool 9 for fixing the tiles 7(a) and 7(B) together on the slanting sheathing roof board 3. The fixing tool 9 is provided with the first locking part 23 locked in such a manner as to be freely engaged to/disengaged from the lower end part 7b, the second locking part 24 locked in such a manner as to be freely engaged with/disengaged from the lower end part 7a, and a spring 26 for urging the locking parts 23 and 24, respectively, in order to lock them in the above manner.
