PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely, strongly, and easily install a vibration control member on a building. SOLUTION: In this vibration control member 11 to absorb and damp vibration of a building, plural blocks 12 of precast concrete are tightened and prestressed by a tension member 13 till be blocks 12 are integrated with each other to become a block aggregate 14 in which bending stress and shearing stress can be transmitted to each other. The block 12 is composed of ultra-light fiber concrete. The block aggregate 14 is fixed to a beam 1 of reinforced concrete through an installation member comprising a wall body 15 of concrete. It is otherwise fixed to a beam of steel through an installation member of steelwork.
