<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembling type extruder screw having a screw shaft of which the fatique strength against repeating load in a rotary direction is not lowered even in a high temperature atmosphere of 400-500°C. <P>SOLUTION: In the assembling type extruder screw 10 constituted by fitting a plurality of screw elements 12 of every kind to the outer diameter of the screw shaft 11, the screw shaft 11 is subjected to surface hardening and the surface hardness thereof is HRC47-50 in SUS420J2. A slot 13 is provided to the shaft center part of the screw shaft 11 up to the vicinity of the leading end of the screw shaft along the axial direction thereof and a hollow pipe 14 having an outer diameter smaller than the inner diameter of the slot 13 is inserted in the slot 13 up to the vicinity of the leading end of the slot 13 to introduce a heating medium into the slot 13 from the hollow shaft 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
