<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent leakage of a lubricant due to thermal expansion or the like over a long period of time, and to simplify the construction of the whole bearing device. <P>SOLUTION: A swivel bearing 11 is provided through a cylindrical spacer 12 between a crank part 8A of a driving shaft 8 and a boss part 5A of a swivel scroll (a back plate 5). A sealing member 13 for sealing the lubricant of the swivel bearing 11 is provided between a step part 8B of the driving shaft 8 and the cylindrical spacer 12, thereby forming a sealing space 16 for the lubricant between the sealing member 13 and the swivel bearing 11. A shielding plate 17 is disposed in the sealing space 16 in a core bar part of the sealing member 13 by a means such as press-in. A very small gap in the radial direction is formed in a space up to the step part 8B on the radial inside of the shielding plate 17. The sealing member 13 is provided with a small-diameter breathing hole 18 bored in a position on the outside of the very small gap of the shielding plate 17 in the radial direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
