PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector having lock pieces that can be restrained from deforming due to external force, in a where the connector body is temporarily locked to a substrate by the lock pieces. SOLUTION: In the connector 10, when an external force F acts on the front end of the connector body 14 to separate it from a substrate 12 in a state where the connector body 14 is temporarily locked to the substrate 12 by a pair of lock pieces 24 and 25 of a fixing fitting 20, an end part in the width direction of a force-receiving rib 32 interferes with the inner peripheral surface of a mounting hole 28 to produce resistance force against the external force F. Thus, the connector body 14 is inhibited from separating from the substrate 12 so that the lock pieces 24 are restrained from deformation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
