PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caution device for calling attention to prevent doze so that an awakening effect is higher in comparison with a conventional awakening method and does not disturb driving. SOLUTION: When a reduction in awakening level of the driver is detected, a blue light having a prescribed wavelength is turned on or blinks. For instance, the prescribed wavelength is 430 nm to 490 nm, and is preferably about 460 nm. The blue light with illumination of 50 to 100 lx or more is turned on or blinks. The blinking periods are gradually shortened over a plurality of levels, or the blue light is turned on or blinks by means of a lighting or blinking pattern with increased illumination.
