<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and quickly determine a surge of a compressor, in a control device of an internal combustion engine with a supercharger. <P>SOLUTION: The passing air amount of a centrifugal compressor 26a is acquired based on output of an air flowmeter 18. A surge limit compressor rotating speed is acquired based on the acquired compressor passing air amount. A compressor rotating speed (a turbo rotating speed) of a present state is acquired based on a turbo rotating speed sensor 30.
