A substrate for forming a pattern is provided to improve transfer efficiency by increasing an affinity with a nano crystal thin film formed on a stamp. An inorganic material layer(120) is formed on a substrate(110) for forming a pattern. On the surface of the inorganic material layer, a surface reforming layer(130) coated with a two-functional molecule includes a functional group having an affinity with a nano crystal at one end of a molecule and includes a functional group having an affinity with the inorganic material layer at the other end of the molecule. The two-functional molecule can be a compound for forming a self-assembled monolayer.
