A belt skirt for preventing falling stones is provided to prevent a damaged or worn skirt from coming into contact with a conveyor belt without separating a support plate and a cover, by bringing the lower inside of a second skirt into contact with the upside of the conveyor belt all the time by elasticity. A belt skirt is joined to the outer side of a support plate(40) by a crimper in order to prevent ores transferred along a conveyor belt(7) installed at a sorter from flowing over out of the width of the conveyor belt. The belt skirt is composed of a first skirt(20) of which the upper end comes into contact with the outer side of the support plate and the lower end is placed on the upside of the conveyor belt and a second skirt(30) of which an upper end is partially overlapped on the outer side of the first skirt and the lower end is bent outward to come into contact with the upside of the conveyor belt. |
